Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at SMS Tex. As an authentic saree manufacturing unit based in Elampillai, Salem, we follow a highly structured, strict policy regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds to ensure absolute retail fairness.


1. Strict Returns Condition

Returns Eligibility Criteria:

We accept returns or replacements **ONLY** in the event that the product received is completely different from the website product image (such as an entirely different design or pattern, or an incorrect item sent by our shipping team).

2. Disallowed Return Reasons

As our sarees are direct-from-manufacturer and undergo triple-point manual quality verification, return requests **will NOT be accepted** under the following conditions:

  • Change of Mind: We do not accept returns if you simply change your mind or do not want the item anymore.
  • Color Shades: Slight variations in colors may occur due to photography lighting settings or your mobile screen display calibration. Minor shade differences are not eligible for returns.
  • Material Preferences: Requests based on personal preferences regarding silk/cotton texture or weave styling are not entertained.

3. How to Initiate a Return Request

If you receive an incorrect saree:

  1. Contact our customer support team via **WhatsApp** at +91 93426 26350 within **48 hours** of order delivery.
  2. Provide your Order ID, Bill Number, and high-resolution photos of the received saree.
  3. Our verification team will review your photos and respond with an approval or rejection decision within **2 to 3 business days**.

4. Damaged in Transit Claims

Transit Damage Video Requirement:

Any product damage incurred during shipping transit must be reported within **24 hours** of receipt.

To successfully process a damage claim, **you must submit a continuous, uninterrupted unboxing video** that clearly captures the courier outer shipping label and shows the damage on the saree without any video cuts, edits, or breaks.

5. Refund Processing Timelines

If your return is approved:

  • We will arrange a reverse pickup from your registered shipping address.
  • Once the returned saree reaches our manufacturing unit in Salem and is verified for unused condition with tags, we will process the refund.
  • The refunded amount will be credited directly to your original online payment channel via **Razorpay** within **5 to 7 business days** of the product arriving back at our facility.
